Devlog #10 - Final Tweaks Before Submission! πŸš€ | GoedWare Game Jam 13


I'm almost ready to submit Breaking The Loop to the GoedWare Game Jam 13, but there were still a few things left to polish:

πŸ“ UI Fix – I reordered the control instructions at the start of the first level so they don’t get obscured by the walls.

🌍 Browser Version Adjustment – Removed the Axe & Bow Land link from the final screen since it couldn’t open properly in the web version.

πŸ’₯ Optimized Explosions – Reduced the number of particles in ship explosions to prevent slowdowns in the browser version.

🎡 Music Update – Pol sent me two awesome new tracks, but he clarified they were remixes of pre-made samples. While there were no copyright issues, we decided to discard them—there are probably hundreds of similar tracks out there. In the end, we’re sticking with one high-quality theme that loops during the game… and it sounds perfect!

πŸ•ΉοΈ Final Playtesting & Release – I played both versions extensively to ensure everything runs smoothly, and now, the final builds are exported and ready to be uploaded to Itch.io!

πŸ₯š Easter Egg & Final Submission – All that’s left is to submit the game to the jam, including instructions on how to find the hidden easter egg.
